Every year , these past almost 10 years , I have delivered a lecture on Cinema. More particularly on some famous Film personality of yesteryear. This started because of the active and continuous prodding and encouragement of two close friends Mr.V.Sriram, Author and Historian and Ms.Susheela Ravindrananth, Journalist. Mr.S.Muthiah , the famous Chennai Chronicler too has always supported me in this. By the grace of God , these talks have found great acceptance from the film loving audience. The media too has given extensive coverage to my talks.
But the most valued compliment I received was from my Guru K.Balachander , I presented the talk with him in the audience. He wrote me a letter which I value as Priceless – see below.
This year , 2015 , my talk was on the actress Sowcar Janaki , who consented to be with us and at the end of the talk answered some questions thrown by the audience. The Hindu had given this event extensive coverage.
